You can give almost any reborn doll a new look simply by changing the clothes it is wearing and the accessories it has. Many dolls come fully kitted out in what was the artists original vision for creating him or her. However, the appeal will vary from person to person and while you may have been happy initially, at some point you might want to consider giving the doll a makeover of your own style.

Cutting the hair

No doubt, even if you did a remarkable job rooting the hair, you are going to need to fix the hair somewhat in order to make it look more real. A quick haircut is in order and what you do here is entirely up to you. However, I would start with a basic trim as detailed below. This part is much easier if you wet the hair first.

Comb the hair downwards to the next all around the head so you can see how long it is.
