Some things you will need
When you get the doll you will be reborning, the most suitable ones are the LaBaby dolls (20 inch) or a Berenguer doll (Leonor for example) – these are especially ideal as they can be picked up quite cheaply and so are excellent to practice on.
If you have problems, I would suggest starting with any closed eye doll that is a soft vinyl. Closed eyed reborns are easier to get a good end result. The Leonor doll mentioned above is an excellent example of this and I would highly suggest starting with this one.

They are also very popular among those who are looking to start reborning as they are the easiest doll to work with. The anatomy on the dolls is a very good lifelike proportion which is a key attribute for reborns. The faces are also desired from many artists.
You can expect to pay from a few dollars up to a few hundred for a Berenguer reborn doll, but at those prices you should consider it a bargain!
