Apart from the doll supplies already listed, you will also need some other supplies and tools which will make your life easier if you have them all before you start.
- Craft Knife. I would highly recommend getting an X-acto knife with a few spare blades. These are by far the best ones I have come across for reborning, although the choice is yours. Get one your are comfortable with and be sure to leave it locked away if you have children

- Suitable Paint Remover. GoofOff, GooGone, Super Degooper are all excellent for removing paint on dolls.
- Q-tips
- Old Toothbrush
- Old (but clean!) cloths
- Felting needle
- Tweezers
- Scissors
- Flathead Screwdriver
- Clear Craft Glue
- Acetone
- Hair Drier or suitable method or heating the vinyl
- Cable ties
- Small amount of brown Felt
- Comb
After you have all of these you can then its almost – almost – time to begin reborning your doll….. but first you will also need some paints.
Note: I have mentioned having a hair drier above. This is so you can use the heat from it to warm up the vinyl of the doll which makes it more pliable and easier to reborn. However, You can also use very hot water.
Simply put the doll piece into the hot water for a few minutes before removing and following the outlined steps, however, be very careful when doing this as it will be hot!
