I received a few queries recently about a comment I made about not using sand to weight a reborn dolls body. My reasons for this is because sand can - and will - leak out of the limbs over time, even if you secure it inside plastic bags.

Also, if the doll is to ever be moved to a different country, customs may not allow it to pass.

There are plenty of alternatives however, such as baby fat pellets and polypellets. Both give
equally good results, and I would urge you to update your supplies list as soon as possible.
